Brad Freeman was in a very bad accident a few weeks.
His daughter Krystin Keener, has asked for
prayer...
Dear friends and family,
Daddy made it through another day of therapy and he said
today was the worst. He has to do a lot of different
exercises, more on his upper body than his lower of
course. Daddy can now get himself from the bed to the
wheelchair and that is a big praise that he can now get
out of bed and around in a chair. Mom said that daddy
took more steps today (I don’t know how many), but he is
having a lot of trouble keeping his feet from crossing
in front of each other since he can’t control them.
Daddy is still asking everyone to pray for God to give him control of his bowels and bladder again. Some x-rays were taken today of daddy’s abdomen and it appears that part of his small intestines are not functioning as they should. Mom said that the doctors don’t want to do surgery right now because daddy’s body has been and is still going through some shock from his injury, obviously this is a serious matter and we really need your prayers.
God knows what the outcome will be regarding his small intestines, but I’m still asking you to pray with us. You don’t really see potential additional problems coming until something else doesn’t work like it should, but again none of this is a surprise to God. Daddy’s urinary catheter was removed last night and now daddy has to cath himself every six hours (4 times a day) since he cannot control the muscles to allow the urine to exit his bladder, please pray that God will touch him and heal him. (I know you already do, but I’m not going to stop asking, he’s my daddy!)
Thank-you all so much for the continuous prayers being offered up for dad. Please keep mom in your prayers too. Mom has also had to learn how to cath daddy, give him shots, and other things and anyone who knows mom knows that it just about kills her to have to do them. She told me today that when she is through learning all the things she needs to know to be able to take care of daddy that she should be given a nursing degree! (I agree!!) Mom is still quite sore and her right hand is still giving her some problems, so pray for her hand too. (If you didn’t really have anything to pray about before 8/31/07 I sure am adding a lot to your list aren’t I?) You know the Bible says that if we don’t praise
God then the rocks and hills will, well with all the prayers and praises given up by all of you and us I don’t think we’re giving them a sliver of a chance and that’s how it should be whether we have hard times or not. I have thanked God everyday since the accident for sparing my parents. What daddy is going through is not easy by no means, but when I think that God could have taken them both to heaven instead of allowing us to have them, then that is reason enough to praise and thank Him for caring for and loving us. Mom sent a picture of daddy today in physical therapy so I have attached it to this e-mail. Print out the photo and put it somewhere where you can look at it and remember to pray for him throughout the day.
Also, when you look at his picture just look at how much
God has done in 11days and be encouraged to know that
God is not done yet. Momma has been calling daddy,
Mephibosheth, and anyone who knows the story in II
Samuel 9 already knows what happens to him, how that
King David brought Mephibosheth into his kingdom, showed
him mercy and took care of Mephibosheth all the rest of
his days. Mephibosheth could not take care of himself
because he could not walk, but a king in his love and
mercy took care of him, just like God is doing for daddy
right now. Momma has been telling daddy that God is just
letting him sit at His table for a while, while He takes
care of him.
11Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my
lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy
servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall
eat at my table, as one of the king's sons. 12And

Leukemia. Please pray for her and her family
(Lisa, Jeff, Hannah & Jessica). There is a trust

My brother Mark has found out he has liver damage, we do
not know the extent of the damage as of yet. But
he has not been able to work in a few months.
Please pray for strength and blessings upon this family.
My sister in law, Kaye also is having health issues.

Zambrano and family. Jesus was diagnosis with
Diabetes, which took his eye sight. This past
Easter him and his family went to Houston, Texas for the
holidays. Jesus suffered a stroke and went into a
coma as they were preparing to come home to Amelia
Island. His wife, Ophelia is still with him in
Houston, she is experiencing many difficulties with
arranging for Jesus to be brought home. Their
children are here on the island trying to take care of
the family business. Please pray for availability
at our local healthcare home - so the children can be
near their father.

I am asking the community here to say a prayer for My
Mom. She just found out she has emphysema. She is a
young 62 and has not smoked in over 20 years, She is a
good person. I am going to the doctors next week with
her to find out more, I am trying to be hopeful. I do
believe in Miracles and I want her to live a long and
healthy life. I thank you for your time and prayers. He
